Propellerhead Reason Invited to Sónarama

Software Featured in Technology Showcase at Festival in Barcelona

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN • 17 JUNE 2004 – Propellerhead Software, the Swedish company behind acclaimed products such as Reason, ReCycle and ReBirth, is very proud to be invited by the highly acclaimed Sónar Festival to host a special event at the Sónarama showcase, an integral part of the Sónar Festival in Barcelona, Spain on June 17-19, 2004.

Propellerhead Software teamed up with Novation, the makers of mobile controllers for music software such as Propellerheads Reason 2.5. The international recording and performing artist Funk D'Void will present a live set performed on an Apple Powerbook, Reason Software and one Novation X-Station at the Sónarama showcase.

Funk D'Void is very enthusiastic about his new recording and performing setup. He will use this technology exclusively on his upcoming tour, replacing all of the hardware equipment he has used in the past. I feel like the first time I discovered MIDI. Switching to this setup has been one of the biggest changes in the way I work. Since doing the switch, I've felt like a kid locked up in a candy store. I cant get enough, commented Funk D'Void about his move from a traditional hardware synth setup to compact PowerBook, Reason and the X-Station system.
