Propellerhead Software Celebrates Tenth Anniversary With Distributor Conference and Party

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN • 5 October 2004 — Propellerhead Software celebrated the tenth anniversary of the company with a first ever distributor conference and party in Stockholm, Sweden on September 17-19, 2004.

Thirty-five distributors from seventeen countries came to the conference that included presentations on designing, developing, marketing and selling Propellerhead Software.

"We felt that having all the people we work with from all over the world together in one room would make an outstanding opportunity for us to explain our company's goals and ambitions to the distributors who carry out our day to day business throughout the world," commented Tage Widsell, Director of Marketing for Propellerhead Software. "We were definitely successful in creating a ‘common mind’."

One of the highlights of the conference was a workshop situation in Sweden's famed Cosmos Studios. The group of distributors were divided into groups of five people and then given ninety minutes each to create a piece of music with Reason. The party, held Saturday, included three live acts and went late into Sunday morning. Several hundred hardcore Propellerheads' users attended on their own expense, coming from as far away as England, Germany and the U.S., and several users won a contest providing them a trip to Sweden to attend the event.

A group of users also presented the company with the ReBirthday mod, a special ReBirth customized front panel and a special bottle of grappa. More at this link.

Propellerhead Software has posted a photo diary of events and video on their website.
