Line 6 to become new US distributor
As of January 8th 2005, Propellerhead Software will change its distributor in the United States to Line 6, Inc.
Stockholm, Sweden - January 7th 2005
Propellerhead Software and M-Audio will continue to cooperate on projects such as software bundles. M-Audio will continue to distribute Propellerhead products in the United Kingdom and France.
Propellerhead Software and M-Audio have and will continue to play lead roles in the laptop and software-centric music movements. Like the Oxygen™8 and Reason, the two companies will always share a unique bond and place in the history of computer music.
Says Ernst Nathorst-Böös of Propellerhead, “It's been a fantastic five years, but all good things come to an end. After discussions with M-Audio we have together decided that it is in both parties' interest to continue on separate paths.
Says Tim Ryan of M-Audio, “We’re very proud of what we have accomplished together over the past few years; it’s been an exciting ride. We wish each other the best in the future.”
Please note: Line 6 will also be responsible for service and technical support of Propellerhead products as of January 8, 2005.
