Reason+ dares music makers to “Sound like you!”
Reason Studios unveils music making service designed to spark originality
27 January 2021, Stockholm, Sweden – Reason Studios, trusted by some of the greatest producers in the world, introduces Reason+, a music making service designed to stimulate originality. Reason+ includes Reason Studios entire creative environment, always up to date. Additionally, music makers get a continual flow of inspiring Sound Packs—music making building blocks providing the simplicity of samples but with a new level of creative flexibility—to use inside any music production software.
“This is our way of telling music makers out there you don!t have to sound like everybody else – instead sound like you!” says Timothy Self, Chief Experience Officer at Reason Studios.
Reason+ is a subscription service available worldwide immediately, starting today. Subscribers have full access to Reason Studios’ complete array of legendary devices inside Reason’s Rack plugin and standalone audio workstation. Today there are over 70 instruments, effects and MIDI Player effects available in Reason+, including Europa, Kong, Grain, and the recently released Friktion and Pattern Mutator. Any new Reason Studios devices and features offered in the future are immediately available to users as part of their subscription.
“Reason+ is the perfect addition to Ableton Live, Apple Logic, FL Studio or Avid ProTools. With all our instruments and effects, combined with a constant stream of inspiring Sound Packs that plug directly into your favorite audio host application, you get great sounds immediately that you can tweak a little or a lot to get that one-of-a-kind sound,” continues Timothy Self.
Sound Packs are the future
Reason+ subscribers also can expect new Sound Packs delivered every week—with titles like Funkadelia, Walkman Warrior, Garage House and Avant Rock Guitars. Delivering fully configured instrument and device patches in the Reason Rack, Sound Packs are immediately playable and completely modifiable.
“Like samples, Sound Packs speed up the music making process, triggering ideas quickly. However, unlike samples that often make you sound just like everybody else, Sound Packs take you way beyond. Adjust parameters, add effects, swap an instrument, change signal flow, make it yours. If you want to be unique, original, quirky, Reason+ is what you need,” says Timothy Self.

About Reason Studios
Back in 1994 three guys in Stockholm figured out a new way to slice loops that changed the way people made music. That was the start of what is now called Reason Studios. We care about music. And we want to help music makers express themselves. We want you to find your own voice – to sound like you.
