Travel back to the dawn of rompler technology with Rompler 88!
The multi-sampled portion of this ReFill features 52 combinator 2 patches. Discover the sound of 1980s expansion cards utilising the power of PCM sampling and studio recording to bring you super brass, electric grand and clavi as well as pipe organ and harpsichord. These 52 patches for NNXT and combinator 2 are curated to give you a wide variety of the units sound palette without repeating timbres.
The One Shot portion houses 36 key matched patches. Featuring resampled variants of the D-50’s fantasy, three variants of the famous shakuhachi as well as a selection of piano and brass chord hits. In addition, it utilises the Latin cards percussion with the NNXT mapping to give you tuned percussion and FX’s.
A library of 226 drum hits and 17 purpose built kits from three sources, the original sound library, the rock drums expansion card and the Latin and FX percussions expansion card. Get classic 80s drum sounds, laid back beach kits and a resampled hybrid TR-808 kit, mapped for Kong and housed in a combinator 2.
GHS07 is created by sampling the Roland U-110 PCM sound module with the following expansion cards: super brass, electric grand and clavi, pipe organ and harpsichord, rock drums and Latin and FX percussions. The design of the combinator 2 patches reflect the original unit’s aesthetics with the virtual card slots corresponding with the patches that sampled them.
Multi-sampled patches for the combinator 2, NNXT and WAV files are sampled 4 notes per octave across 5 octaves with some exceptions. All Samples Sampled at 24 bit, 48kHz.
