Dark digital dance sounds from the legendary Lately Bass to unstable cinematic tones.
The multi-sampled portion of this ReFill features 51 combinator 2 patches. Including the classic Lately bass, dreamy chimes and lush electric pianos. Get creative with synthesized brass, strings and retro organs, full of digital character. The combinator 2 effects chain is inspired by historical processing of late eighties FM synthesis tones, utislizing chorus and spacial effects.
The One Shot portion houses 40 key matched patches, including brooding pads, arcade sound effects and evolving sci-fi hits. Harsh and brittle patches like DrkMachine Pad and 81z State are perfect for drum and bass and techno whereas KrstlChoir and Wowocaster are great in a retrowave mix.
A library of over 300 drum hits and 12 purpose built kits influenced by EDM, industrial music and retrowave. The Kong kits feature select round robin or layering on some pads as well as creative processing to maximise the potential of the original samples. The drum samples are split into two groups, FM81Z hits and Turbo DD6 hits.
GHS10 is created by sampling the Yamaha TX81Z sound module and Yamaha DD6 drum machine. The DD6 patches feature additional drum processing from the following effects: Line 6 Filter Pro, Line 6 Mod Pro and Old Blood Noise Endeavors MAW. The design of the instrument combinator 2 patches reflect the original unit’s aesthetics with the drum combinator 2 patches taking visual inspiration from drum machines of the era.
The demo tracks use additional sidechain compression that is not part of the patches.
Multi-sampled patches for the combinator 2, NNXT and WAV files are sampled 4 notes per octave across 5 octaves. All Samples Sampled at 24 bit, 48kHz.
