CV Logic/Math Tool

This is where CV becomes structure. Combine clocks into new rhythms, derive variations, and sculpt modulation with purposeful math.

CV Logic/Math Tool is less about “processing” and more about composing control signals.
Use logic to create new gate relationships (e.g., XOR-style offbeats and variations) and math to build dynamic interactions (e.g., make an LFO intensity follow an envelope). The goal is fast, modular problem-solving: take two or three simple signals and patch your way into something that feels designed.

LOGIC 1 & 2

• Logic 1: A/B -> Out & C/D -> Out
• Logic 2: E/F -> Out & G/H -> Out

Mode switch: selects the boolean operation:
• AND (both must be true)
• OR (either can be true)
• XOR (true when different)

INV switch: inverts the result

MATH 1 & 2

• Math 1: A and B
• Math 2: C and D

The Mode knob selects one of five operations:
• SUM: A + B
• DIFF: A − B
• MIN: min(A, B)
• MAX: max(A, B)
• PROD: A×B

ATTENUVERTERS 1–4

• Level knob: scales the incoming signal from -1 to +1 (negative values invert).
• Bias knob: adds a CV offset from -1 to +1 after level
• In / Out jacks on the back.
• Level CV modulates the Level amount

Normalization (auto-chain)
To make quick “two-stage” shaping easy, attenuverters are internally normalled:
• Att 1 Out → Att 2 In (only when Att 2 In is not patched)
• Att 3 Out → Att 4 In (only when Att 4 In is not patched)
