Sequenced CV Source / Mixer
CV Mixer/Sequencer
- • 16-channel dual-lane A/B architecture
- • Channels act as CV sources when unpatched
- • 5 Sequencer modes
Sequenced CV Source / Mixer is a 16-channel CV mixer and step-driven CV source for the Reason rack. With the sequencer off, it’s a solid, hands-on CV mixer with attenuverters, subgroups, and a crossfader. Switch the sequencer on and the same setup turns into a moving control system, where your channel levels become steps in an evolving pattern.
It’s split into two lanes, A and B, with eight channels each. Each lane feeds a subgroup with an attenuverter, and the two subgroups meet in a Mix crossfader. Every channel can be a source or a processor: with nothing plugged into Level In, the knob generates a bipolar DC offset; with CV plugged in, the knob attenuverts the incoming signal. The result is available on the lane bus and on a direct out, and each channel also outputs a gate that goes high when it’s active.
The sequencer activates channels depending on the selected order, including parallel, continuous, zig-zag, pendulum, and random movement across the lanes. Steps sets how many channels are included and can be modulated via Steps CV In. Step Trig advances the active channel by one step for each incoming trig or gate.
