6U Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyser
Supernami shows you what your audio is doing. Put it anywhere in your signal chain and it passes the sound through sample for sample, never changing it.
SCOPE
Time-domain oscilloscope with X Zoom (1 ms to 2 s) and Y Zoom, panning in both directions and Freeze. Monitor Left, Right, Mid or Side, or view Left/Right or Mid/Side together in two panes. Choose a Window of Free or a musical length locked to your song (1 Bar down to 1/32, including triplets), with beat and bar lines drawn under the trace so a repeating part prints in the same place every pass.
TRIGGER
Rising or Falling signal trigger with an adjustable Threshold and Position marker. Auto keeps the picture moving when nothing crosses the level, Hold keeps a catch on screen from 1 ms to 1 s, and Fallback chooses Freerun or Hold/Wait. In the two-pane views you choose which wave the trigger watches. With a musical Window, a catch starts where the hit starts.
SPECTRUM
256-band spectrum from -80 dBFS to +20 dBFS with X and Y Zoom, panning and Freeze. Peak shows a steady tone at its true level, for tuning, level matching and finding resonances. White and Pink are for test signals. Each draws its own noise as a flat line, so any tilt or dip you see is the processing, not the display. Use them to check the response of filters and EQs, or to judge the balance of a mix against a pink-noise reference. Decay sets how fast each band falls, from 100 ms to 2 s.
PIANO ROLL
Hover the spectrum to read the note, frequency in Hz and level at that point. The nearest piano key lights up and a line joins it to the trace. Switch the piano roll on or off.
INSPECTOR
Window, Trigger, Hold, Auto and Fallback live in an inspector on the display. It folds down to a slim bar and remembers whether you left it open. X Zoom and Y Zoom can be mapped to Remote.
