SAP10 & ES10

The dream was always a mono synth with a built-in sequencer. Punch in a bassline, hit play, and spend the next hour tweaking the oscillator and filter.

ES10 and SAP10 split that idea into two devices you can combine and route however you like. ES10 is the synth: fat oscillators, three filter flavors, and real analog warmth. SAP10 is the sequencer and arpeggiator driving it, either by simple step programming or an arpeggiator with HOLD and TRANSPOSE. Add SHUFFLE and PROBABILITY to keep things moving. Patch in other instruments and effects via CV to build your own experimental rig. Or just run ES10 and SAP10 together for instant gratification: program a pattern, ride the filter, and drift off into electronic dreamscapes.

• Shuffle, per-step probability, key transpose and gate length
• Step Trig in and CV / Gate out to drive ES10 and other devices

Why they belong together

ES10 and SAP10 share the same vintage-inspired idea, just expressed differently. ES10 carries it in tone, with warm analog circuitry. SAP10 carries it in feel, with the hands-on, tactile playing style of a classic step sequencer. That shared design is what makes the pairing feel whole rather than assembled.

It shows in how they work together, too. SAP10 is a Player, so it drops straight into the rack above ES10 and feeds it notes over MIDI, no patching required. Hold a chord for the arpeggiator, and ES10 answers instantly. Both are also built to reach further: SAP10‘s CV and Gate outputs can drive other synths and modules in your rack, while ES10‘s CV inputs stay open for modulation from other sources, so the pair plugs straight into whatever else you’re running.
