Pure Excellence PX-1: Pianos is the first release in our Pure Excellence Series for PX-1.
The collection features 15 carefully crafted piano performance instruments built around a custom TX-916 architecture.
Each instrument combines four PX-1 synthesizers, with every PX-1 running dual FM layers, creating rich, expressive sounds with exceptional depth and dynamic response.
Rather than recreating vintage hardware, the instruments are designed around the idea of how a modern TX-816 could have evolved. The result is a collection of pianos that feel familiar, yet refined, offering greater presence, wider stereo imaging and a highly playable response.
Each Combinator includes a streamlined performance panel with musical controls, allowing the player to shape the sound without interrupting the playing experience. Every instrument has been balanced for immediate use, whether performing live or recording in the studio.
