Shape the sound
Build a tone from saw, pulse, sine and noise. Separate resonant high-pass and low-pass filters, a dedicated filter envelope and an amplitude envelope let you move from soft, rounded notes to bright attacks and hollow colors. BRILLIANCE and RESONANCE provide broad tone changes while preserving the individual filter settings.
Add expression and movement
Add movement with five internal SUB waveforms, independent pulse-width modulation and a swept ring modulator. Velocity can shape level, filter, vibrato and wah. The rear EXT IN accepts an external modulation signal in place of the SUB waveform, while expression-pedal and portamento controls extend the playing response. Pitch and modulation wheels sit on the front panel: the pitch wheel bends two semitones and the mod wheel deepens vibrato on top of the saved PITCH setting.
Mono or stereo Double
Choose 1-16 voices per layer and 1x, 2x or 4x processing quality. Mono sends one layer to both outputs; Double combines two independent layers with adjustable detune and stereo spread. Rear controls add pitch drift, voice spread and board variation. Sound, performance and rear settings are saved in the native patch format. No sample library is required.

The 23-patch bank includes Init, nine modern basses, plucks and pads, and thirteen Classic Estimates covering strings, brass, flute, electric piano, clavichord, harpsichord, guitar and funky tones. The Classic Estimates are documented interpretations of classic preset recipes, with their estimate status retained in every patch name.
