Ocelot Polyphonic CV

Ocelot is a versatile, polyphonic MIDI and CV note processor designed to filter, shift, and delay note data within the Reason Rack. Operating as either a standalone Player device or a chained module within a PolyCV ecosystem (such as receiving chord data from Lynx and sending to a Lyra, Centauri, Ursa or any other player device), Ocelot dynamically shapes incoming performances. It has the ability to isolate specific voices from a chord—extracting just the bassline or the lead melody—while applying real-time octave shifting, velocity scaling, and precision note delays. Whether you need to extract a monophonic bass sequence from a complex polyphonic progression, offset a harmony part by a dotted-eighth note, or daisy-chain multiple Ocelots together via PolyCV for intricate modular routing, this device acts as the ultimate utility for connecting your track.

Ocelot is a polyphonic note processor and PolyCV player device. Feed it MIDI or a follower CV signal from another Ocelot or a Lynx device. Then shape it with onboard Octave, Velocity, Mode, and Delay controls. Fan the signal out to eight independent PolyCV outputs: four “wet” copies of the processed signal and four “dry” copies of the untouched passthrough. Every output has its own automatable on/off. Whether you’re daisy-chaining your chord progression to multiple player devices, splitting processed and clean signals across a patch, or just adding delay and velocity movement to your midi, Ocelot does it in a single 1U device.
