Trixy X Gate Generator

Trixy X is a 2U gate sequencer built around the gate lane of Reason’s Matrix Pattern Sequencer. It keeps the Matrix look and workflow, with the Steps box, the Resolution knob and velocity bars you paint with the mouse. On top of that, each of its 32 steps gets its own timing and probability.

Make a step half as long or twice as long, give it a chance of firing, tie it into the next one for longer gates. Simple patterns pick up movement and variation while staying locked to the song. RANDOM writes a new pattern, AMOUNT decides how much of it changes, and a Rand CV input lets other devices do it for you. A new pattern always lands cleanly on a step.

Trixy X follows the transport or runs on its own with RUN. It takes CV for run, reset, loop length, probability and random. COLOR switches the display, buttons and lamp between seven colour schemes.
