From the moment you drop it into your Rack and explore its nine modes, RV-9 delivers spaces and textures that are instantly usable. Whether you’re placing a vocal in a tight room or washing a synth in a long, evolving tail, the sound holds together without constant tweaking.

The interface keeps everything within reach. Core controls are right there on the top panel, letting you shape your space in seconds instead of digging through menus. And when you do want to go deeper, open the bottom panel for pre-delay, a powerful EQ, shimmer, and more. You get all the depth you need when you need it, without anything getting in your way.

Under the hood RV-9’s algorithms are designed to fill any reverb need you might have, sounding excellent even at extreme settings. Push the decay, stack shimmering intervals, or experiment with more abstract modes like Spectral and Granular. The result stays wide, detailed, and ready to sit nicely in the mix, allowing you to be creative without second-guessing every move.

Features

Nine algorithms offer everything from high-fidelity physical spaces to experimental tones and textures. Explore the classic Room, Hall, Arena, Cathedral, Plate, and Spring modes, or push into the future with the innovative Spectral, Granular, and Echoverb modes for frequency-warped, evolving soundscapes.

Hit "Open" to access mode-specific parameters for crafting your tails in depth: early reflection and size controls, spectral tone-sculpting, spring and plate selections, grain behavior, and more.

Ducking is a dedicated sidechain section that ducks the reverb level (or even the decay length) against your dry signal. The tail stays out of the way while you're playing, then breathes back in during pauses. Big atmosphere, zero mud.

The global EQ and Shimmer sections let you fine-tune with precision and ease. Reduce problematic frequencies, shape your space, and add intervals to your reflection for anything from angelic pads to cinematic tension.

RV-9 ships with over 70 professionally-crafted presets, highlighting the strengths of every algorithm and using them to their potential. Each one is built to work as a starting point you'll actually use.

The Back-Panel CV Routing is where the Reason Rack really shows up. The back panel is loaded with CV inputs and outputs, so you can modulate any parameter in real time, patch other devices into the signal chain, and build modular spatial effects you simply can't create anywhere else.
