Reason Studios Introduces Reason 14 with a Reimagined Workflow

<p><strong>Stockholm, Sweden – October 28, 2025</p>
<p>Reason Studios&#8217; latest device takes the range and control of a multiband dist and pairs it with a modular core.<br />
</strong> </p>
<p><strong>Modular</strong><br />
A matrix of nine freely routable effect slots lets you shape your own signal paths from subtle tape<br />
saturation to speaker-melting noise. Build chains the way you want using series, parallel, or<br />
feedback and instantly re-patch in seconds. Osmium comes with four distortion modules covering<br />
four main areas — Saturation, Overdrive, Wavefolder, and Bitcrush, backed by supporting effects<br />
like dynamics, filters, EQ and a bunch of creative FX.</p>
<p><strong>Multiband</strong><br />
Three frequency bands for processing and a modulation matrix featuring two LFOs, a curve sequencer, an envelope follower, and CV control. Distort your bass while leaving the low-end intact, add different effects to different bands, or use it on your mix to give your production that extra something.</p>
<p><strong>Made for the Rack</strong><br />
Osmium is fully integrated into the Reason Rack with built-in CV and modulation. External effect loops let you patch any device from Reason’s ecosystem directly into Osmium’s signal chain, enabling sounds that couldn’t exist anywhere else and blurring the lines between devices. Osmiumspecific algorithms together with 200+ expertly crafted patches lends the dist a recognizable Reason flavor and makes it feel right at home in the Rack.</p>

Reason Studios Introduces Osmium Distortion Matrix, a new device for the Reason Rack

<p><strong>Stockholm, Sweden – May 2025</strong> Reason Studios has just unveiled their latest player—Arpeggio Lab. It’s described as a new creative tool built not just to generate patterns, but to generate ideas. At its core, Arpeggio Lab splits your chord into two roles: ‘Anchor’ and ‘Movement’. ‘Anchor’ locks in the rhythm while ‘Movement’ fills in the gaps with anything from clean melodic runs to dense, glitched-out melodies. They describe it as ‘50% playable arpeggiator, 50% idea-generator and 100% guaranteed to cure your creative block.’ </p>
<p>Arpeggio Lab isn’t about playing predictable patterns. It’s about experimenting—pulling something unexpected out of chords you thought you already knew. To cite Reason Studios—it ‘invites you to stop overthinking and start producing’. </p>
