Today we’re pleased to announce that Reason and LANDR are teaming up to redefine the future of music creation.

When Reason’s journey started in 1994, we set ourselves apart with a creative workflow that gave birth to the iconic DAW and Rack system. Ever since, our passionate base of producers has been inspired by the Reason DAW and its extensive set of instruments and effects.

We know how much our artists love our DAW and our Rack workflow, and our singular focus will continue to be making our tools more inspiring, more intuitive and more fun to use.

We’re committed to keeping the Reason DAW and Rack you know and love here to stay. Rest assured, there will be no immediate changes to existing customer accounts, licenses, pricing or support.

This next chapter is about giving Reason room to grow by gradually and transparently integrating it with LANDR’s powerful ecosystem of plugins, samples, intelligent mastering and distribution.

It also means the LANDR and Reason teams will benefit from expanded resources and shared expertise, allowing them to keep evolving and enhancing the DAW and Rack.

A few things to expect in the future:

  • • More ways to access the Reason Rack for non-Reason DAW users
  • • New integrations between LANDR and Reason products
  • • Increased levels of customer support and R&D

Together, we believe LANDR and Reason can build a stronger and more unified creator ecosystem that empowers producers and artists to create, master, and release their best music.

We’re lucky to have a passionate community of artists with great ideas about where Reason can go and how it could be better. To guide Reason’s continued evolution, LANDR and Reason Studios are establishing an Artist Council made up of well known producers and longtime users of Reason. They will be instrumental in shaping the future of the platform so that it works for both new and existing users alike.

This Council will ensure that Reason’s roadmap remains deeply connected to the real-world needs and ambitions of today’s creators, advising on product innovation, creative tools and workflows.

There’s a lot to be excited about. Both companies share a clear mission: to make music creation more accessible, inspiring, and enjoyable for everyone. We’re thrilled about what we can build together.
