…aaand we’re back! After working hard behind the scenes to get things off to a great start, we’re announcing the first major steps in our journey with LANDR.
First off, we know there are countless music makers out there who are happy with their DAW of choice but have always wanted to leverage the power of the Reason Rack in their projects. This is why we’ve added a new option to purchase the Reason Rack separately as a plugin through either a license or a subscription.
The Reason Rack license is available now for $199, and the Reason Rack subscription at $11.99 per month or $99 per year. Just like with Reason+, the Reason Rack subscription includes all our add-on devices and the constantly growing library of Sound Packs.
This will be great news for anyone wanting to dip their toes into the Reason universe at a more affordable price without committing to a new DAW. If you already own Reason 11 or above (including Reason 11 Suite) and primarily use Reason as a plugin, you can also upgrade to Reason Rack 13 for $79.
For our amazing community of existing users and any other artist who prefers the full Reason experience you know and love, we’ve also reduced the price of the Reason 13 Upgrade from $149 to $99 and the full version of Reason 13 from $499 to $299.
On top of this, we’re significantly expanding the Reason+ subscription with new services and content while also reducing its annual price to $169 per year.
The expanded Reason+ subscription includes professional AI mastering, global music distribution, a library of over 3 million samples, more than 20 VST plugins, and AI-powered tools such as stem separation, vocal restoration, and sample adaptation. This is, of course, also included for all existing Reason+ subscribers and will be available in the coming weeks.
Most importantly, you choose how you use these additions to Reason+. When taken together, they can support your entire process from production to mastering and worldwide release, all in one place without increasing cost—but if you just want to do some stem separation, that’s fine too!
This is one of the most exciting parts of working with LANDR, to give current and future Reason music makers the best possible value and experience they can get. We’ll keep you posted on even more improvements as they come together. This is just the beginning!
