LooLoo Mini turns a captured loop into an instrument you play.
LooLoo Mini is a single-track stereo looper for Reason that’s built to be performed, not just set. Record a loop and you get a focused set of controls for reshaping it as it plays — a movable window onto the recording, a dedicated stutter section, and a spring-loaded speed-bend wheel.
Recording stays out of your way. Set the loop length in bars, press record, and LooLoo Mini locks to your song’s tempo and bar grid, captures exactly the length you asked for, and starts looping on its own. Free Record and Early Stop break the grid when you want them to.
Build your loop up in layers. Overdub mode keeps recording as the loop plays, stacking new parts onto what’s already there — the classic looping workflow — with single-level undo to walk back a take that didn’t land. Solo and play modes cover the rest: hear the loop alone, or play freely over the top.
The audible window is the heart of it. Once a loop is recorded you don’t have to hear all of it: choose how much of the loop is audible and where that slice sits, and sweep it while the loop runs to re-sequence your audio by hand. Add stutter for rhythmic repeats, the speed-bend wheel for real-time pitch and tape-style bends, and reverse for playback in either direction.
There’s depth underneath the performance controls — independent pitch shift, decay for loops that evolve and fade, and an external FX send/return that folds processed audio back into the loop for echoes that dissolve, filter or grow over time. Full CV in and out lets the loop drive the rest of your rack in time with itself. Run several instances and each holds a different section of a track, all locked to the same transport.
