LooLoo X caliber

LooLoo X-Caliber is two independent stereo loopers in a single device, built for live capture and real-time mangling.

Record a loop on either track and reshape it on the fly: bend the speed, throw it into reverse, shrink playback to a tiny window, granular-pitch it, let it decay into a dub wash, or hold the Stutter button to fracture it into glitch. Each track has its own effects send and return loop, so you can fold external processing back into the loop for feedback, growing reverbs and runaway textures.

What sets it apart is the Bounce engine: fold one track’s audio into the other — on the beat, with the source mixed in at the destination’s play position — freeing a looper to capture something new, or stacking layers into a single track. A cross-track Sync Lock keeps both loops phase-aligned, with length multipliers from ×0.25 to ×3 for counter-loops and evolving layers.

A large dual-radar display shows both tracks at once — position, state, length, speed, decay, FX and memory — and every performance parameter is exposed to CV, with 41 inputs and 8 outputs for fully patchable, hands-free looping.

Speed-bend fader with smooth, drift-free return to time
Reverse, combinable with every other control
Windowed loop trimmer (size + offset) to play any slice of the loop
Granular pitch shift with adjustable grain size, independent of speed
Per-cycle decay for dub-style fade-outs, plus edge fade for click-free seams
Momentary Stutter with size and speed controls

Per-track effects loop

Stereo Send and Return jacks for an external effects loop on each track
FX Mix blends the processed return back into the loop, with regeneration during overdub
FX bypass and a headroom guard on the returns

Bounce engine

Fold either track into the other (1→2 and 2→1, independent)
On-beat sync gate, arm/cancel, and mutual exclusion between directions
Position-anchored mixing with smooth edges; optional clear-after-bounce
One level of undo on the destination

Sync & mixer

Cross-track Sync Lock aligns recording between tracks
Length multiplier ×0.25 to ×3 for half, equal, double and triple loops
Central mixer with per-track levels, master Main Mix, and master Mute
