LooLoo
Creative Live Looper
- • Two independent loopers, every knob on CV
- • Loop just a slice — then slide it anywhere
- • Independent pitch & speed, granular texture
LooLoo records what you feed it and gives you a loop you can play with. Two independent tracks, each with its own audio path, its own settings, and its own loop length — record on one, overdub on the other, or run them together.
What sets LooLoo apart is what happens after the loop is recorded. A movable playback window lets you shrink the loop to a slice and slide that slice through the recording. Pitch and speed are independent, so you can transpose without slowing down or stretch without changing key — or tie them together with varispeed for the tape-machine feel. A granular engine gives you grain-size control over the texture. Decay turns overdubbing from an endless build-up into a self-erasing echo, or anything in between. A stutter engine captures and repeats slices for fills and glitches, and reverse flips the loop with a smooth, musical turnaround.
Every continuous control and every transport action has a CV input, so LooLoo plays as well from a sequencer as from the panel. Gate the record and stutter inputs for rhythmic capture; modulate the window, pitch, or grain size from an LFO for textures that never quite repeat. Each track also sends out a position ramp and an end-of-loop pulse, so a loop of any length becomes a clock and a modulation source for the rest of your rack. And track B can lock to track A at a musical ratio, for layered loops that stay in time by construction.
Focused, deep, and built to be played. LooLoo is looping as an instrument.
