Reason › Instruments & Effects Quartet
Spice up your sound with four flavors of chorus and ensemble effects. From classic vintage chorus to the unique sound of granular ensemble.
Quartet offers four ways to thicken and lush-up your sound. The Chorus effect is a high-quality, sweet-sounding effect that’s perfect when you strive to invoke the 80s, just once more. The BBD effect emulates the sound of the Bucket Brigade Device featured in many legendary Ensemble effects. The FFT effect is where Quartet goes off-script to provide something different. FFT lets you apply a wide ensemble effect to only part of the frequency spectrum. It’s perfect to get a wide lead guitar tone while keeping clarity and attack. Or put it on the higher frequencies on a synth bass to add sizzle and width while keeping the lower frequencies clear and un-muddied. The Grain mode is another step into uncharted sonic territory with an ensemble effect cross-bred with the kid of granular treatment usually found in advanced synths like Grain. The result is anything from smooth wide to… well, just listen for yourself.
