Reason › Instruments & Effects Subtractor
Warm, straightforward and easy to use. Subtractor is most Reason users go-to synthesizer.
Similar in layout of the analog flagship synths of the early 80s, the Subtractor makes it easy to create anything from warm pads to rumbling bass. A unique feature of the Subtractor Synthesizer is the oscillator phase offset. By using this feature you can create complex waveforms by subtracting or multiplying a waveform with a phase offset copy of itself. This analog type polyphonic synthesizer is based on subtractive synthesis, the method used in classic, analog synthesizers.
- Two Oscillators with 32 waveforms, Phase Offset Modulation, and FM
- Dual Linkable Filters
- Three ADSR Envelopes
- Extensive Velocity control
- Plenty of CV inputs and outputs to interface with the Reason Rack
